Peters Christmas is the epitome of Danish Christmas fun. The children's book was first published in 1866. The verses are written by Johan Krohn and illustrated by Pietro Krohn.
In the first color-printed version of 1889, which is the basis for these 8 cards, the drawings were processed by the painter Frants Henningsen. On the 28 pages of the book we follow the boy Peter from the prelude to Christmas, over Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and to the old withered Christmas tree being driven away. Here are condominiums, Christmas goats, candles, snow and a real Santa Claus, who takes care of bringing Christmas to every home with fun children.
The cards are printed at a Swan-labeled company and made from environmentally certified FSC paper.
The envelopes are made of eco-friendly eucalyptus paper.
