The card folder contains 8 double cards with matching envelopes.
Maria Sibylla Merian was a German-Dutch botanist, entomologist and visual artist who created a groundbreaking work on South American insects and plants.
When the names of the insects are not included, it is because the names of the names are not known at Sibylla Merian's lifetime.
