The motifs and recipes of the cards:

Old-fashioned, pot-roasted chicken with sliced cucumber
New potatoes with dill and fried herring
Fried plaice with homemade remoulade and parsley
Fiord shrimps with dill, lemon and homemade mayonnaise
Salad with tomatoes, peppers and cheese
Veal fricassee with new carrots and peas
Pancakes with stewed berries and vanilla ice cream
The fine illustrations are designed by Peter Nielsen, author, artist, graphic designer and subject teacher at Design Seminar in Højer 1997-2002. He has had a studio at Ærø from 2003. His main emphasis is on visual and illustrative, which is seen in biological textbooks, instructional manuals and for decorations.
The cards are printed on European Swan-labeled company and are made from environmentally certified FSC paper.
The envelopes are made of eco-friendly eucalyptus paper.
