Mint - a book on growing and harvesting

The authors Nielsen & Nielsen, who run an organic herb nursery and specialize in mint, tell the story of mint, give insight into its botany and offer practical advice on cultivation and harvest. The many exciting mint varieties that exist—and that we can grow, enjoy and appreciate—are described here. They also write about their use in food and drinks. The fragrant, lovely green herb is also given recipes and tips in this little white handbook. 

Mint is a lush and aromatic plant whose qualities have been known for ages and used by very different cultures. There is practically no culture that hasn’t used mint. It has been used medicinally to soothe nausea and aid digestion, cosmetically for refreshment and cooling massage, around the home to ward off insects and to give a fresh lift to the living room. 

Chef Nikolaj Kirk has written the foreword and created a mint recipe especially for the book.
Kirsten Tind has illustrated the beautiful mint watercolours.
