Beskrivelse
The blue anemone, Heptica nobilis, is a perennial herb that grows wild in several places in Denmark. It is characterized by its kidney-shaped basal leaves and its 6-7 blue-violet petals. The plant lives and grows in calcareous soil and in humus-rich forest floors, on slopes and banks.
The blue anemone blooms in March-May and is one of the first spring flowers.
