THE ORANGERY - The History and the Plants

Kirsten Engholm, gardener at the Orangery in Fredensborg Palace Garden, has worked with orangery plants for more than 20 years, and it has become her passion. The Orangery at Fredensborg Palace Garden is one of the few run as a stately 18th-century orangery, where age-old tub plants are cultivated and cared for like royal treasures.

In the book "The Orangery - the History and the Plants", Kirsten Engholm tells the story of orangeries around the world, the many plants that have been used in them over time, and how best to grow them.
