Beskrivelse
The fig, Ficus, has distinctive dark green leaves. The tree's flowers produce pear-shaped fruits that contain seeds resembling tiny nuts. The flesh of the fruit is dark red, tasting sweet and honey-like.
The fruits are ready to eat in late August and develop a brownish-violet colour.
