Fine and simple A2 art print with Common polypody from the botanical atlas Flora Danica. The rhizome is sweet and has, over time, been used medically for various disorders such as invasive worms, constipation, arthritis, coughing, cataracts, both liver and spleen problems.
Common polypody is a low, winter-green fern that can grow in both sun and shade. It grows wildly throughout Denmark, but is also used in ornamental gardens and works well as a ground cover plant.
