Sea Lily - ART PRINT - CHOOSE SIZE

Sea lilies are a very ancient group of animals, known all the way back to the Cambrian. They have always been abundant in the earth's seas, where they could form whole "forests" on the seafloor and grow several meters tall. It's typically pieces of their stems that are found as fossils, since the stem is very solid, and its individual calcareous plates held together quite well. Pieces of sea lily stems are very easy to recognize because they are five-sided to round in cross-section and have a characteristic five-part internal structure. The arms and the "cup" are only very rarely found in pieces.

The fossilized sea lilies found in Denmark mainly date from the Cretaceous or Paleocene periods, but they can also be found in the Øland limestone all the way back to the Ordovician and Silurian periods.

Sizes A4 and A3 are delivered individually packaged and flat in biodegradable cellophane. Prints from A2 and larger sizes are rolled with tissue paper and delivered in a triangular cardboard tube with attractive silver print.
