CHILI - Poster A2
Chili are spicy but the fruit can taste sour. Columbus brought the chili to Europe in the early 16th century under the name "Indian Pepper" as an exclusive item. In recent times it is used by everyone in our cooking.
Today, chili is frequently used in cooking and most people have taken the small strong fruit seriously. Two thirds of the earth's population eats the fruit daily and it is even the world's most widely used spice.
At this poster 38 varieties of chili are carefully selected by Lene Tvedegaard from Gartneri Toftegaard.
