That's what Lars Thomas says, who has written this little practical guide for all of us who find fish exciting, but who sometimes stand at the fishmonger's and stare at a strange critter we've never seen or heard of before.

In the book, published in "The White Series", the most commonly found species in Danish waters are presented from the fish groups: walrus, sharks, rays, sturgeon, eel, sea eel, salmon, herring, shiner, king herring, walleye, codfish, longtails ) wingfish, gobies, mackerel, swordfish, flatfish, lumpfish and roundmouths.

The book is fully illustrated by Susanne Weitemeyer, who has more than 40 years of experience as a nature illustrator
