With great respect, Koustrup & Co. has carefully restored these original hand-drawn motifs, which were found in William Morris’ own home. Each original has been gently preserved and revived so his original vision shines through while keeping their historical authenticity. We are proud to do this in collaboration with The William Morris Society in London. The society, dedicated to preserving Morris’ work and ideals, keeps his vision alive for future generations.

William Morris (1834–1896), a visionary designer and founder of the Arts & Crafts movement, believed in the power of beauty, craftsmanship and sustainability. His intricate, nature-inspired patterns transformed interior design and are just as captivating today as they were in the 19th century.

Morris was also a socialist and believed that art should be for everyone.
