HISTORY

Jim Lyngvild has explored Rosenborg Castle's treasury and has been allowed to show royal treasures in a new and unprecedented light. Objects created for power, splendor and admiring looks. Jewels as big as quail eggs and pearls so old that their origins are lost. Crowns for anointing and jewelry worn by the legendary kings and queens of the past.

The motifs are photographed by Jim Lyngvild and used for the book Royal Treasures and Crown Jewels.
