Puisi is pronounced 'bu-i-si' and means ‘seal’ in Greenlandic.
The seal has, for generations, been an important food source among Arctic peoples and is still considered a delicacy today. Seal hunting is therefore an important part of the culture where nothing goes to waste. Seal skin is used for clothing, national dress, decorations and much more.
