Summer, sun and lighthouses... Denmark has many beautiful lighthouses. Today many are out of service due to modern shipping and navigation technology, but most have nonetheless been preserved as cultural-historical monuments.

Lighthouses are not just impressive buildings. If you take the plunge and climb to the top of a lighthouse, you'll enjoy a fantastic view of sea and landscape in every direction. The experience is mostly for the brave, but it's definitely worth a visit even for the little ones.
