The Danish painter Liza Krügermeier (1974) has for a number of years specialized in studies of fruit and vegetables, a colorful theme, which she adds to her own personal interpretations. In particular, she finds the apple as fruit and symbol extremely inspiring. In her hometown of Stege på Møn, the apple harvest is celebrated every year in October. In this connection, Liza has created a series of beautiful apple portraits. Liza Krügermeier works as a full-time artist and, together with her partner Rupert Sutton, runs LIZA'S GALLERY in Stege at Møn.
