BOOK: EDIBLE FLOWERS (danish text)

In traditional Danish cuisine, the use of flowers has never been very widespread. Fortunately, we are now largely inspired by other food cultures and that is probably why we are seriously discovering the possibilities in our own backyard. In the Nordic countries we have many edible flowers in nature and the gardens, and they are both decorative and have culinary value.

In this book, experienced garden and food writer Anemette Olesen, who if anyone is a Danish pioneer in experimenting with the achievements of the garden and nature, gives her bid for flowers that can be picked and consumed for everyone's pleasure. Recipes and tips are also provided along the way. The book wants to inspire more extensive use of flowers in the food. Once you start using flowers in the food, there is no limit to how varied and delicious you can do it.

The illustrations in the book are designed by Kirsten Tind.
