European pasque flower, Pilsatilla vulgaris, is a rare, perennial herb that grows on dry, calcareous sites, grassy hills, overgrowths and slopes. The plant is recognizable on the large open flower crown and its blue / violet flowers with many yellow stamens.
Creating cobwebs is a fine spring blossom that blooms in April-May and becomes about 20-30 cm high.
The plant is protected and must not be collected.
